The Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, is expected to arrive at the Banjul International Airport on Tuesday afternoon 14th February, 2017.
Mr Johnson will be received at the foot of the aircraft by senior Government officials, diplomats among other dignitaries. Following the usual ceremony, he will be taken to Kairaba Beach Hotel for a closed-door meeting with the President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow.
The Gambia and the United Kingdom have a long historic relationship. Foreign Secretary Johnson’s visit will focus on ways and means of ensuring that the two countries work closely in developing bilateral and economic cooperation.
